Being a travel consultant, people always ask me "where's your favourite destination?" And I always have the same reply...

My favourite destination is the one I haven't been to before. Nothing beats visiting a place for the first time -  that mix of anticipation, surprise, even the unease that it evokes. To me, that's what travelling is all about. The discovery.

I've been working in the travel industry "since last century"!..Remember when we had hand written paper tickets? I do.

I started with PHT in The Suite at Glenelg in February 2018, having moved here from Brisbane.

travel tips

• I always travel with a power board.  These days we have so many devices to charge, one adapter isn't enough. Plus a powerboard has a short cord on it - in many hotels the power points are behind the bed or under the table, so the powerboard gives easy access.  
• AND...many hotels now do not have a power point in the bathroom. Ladies, how can we use our hair dryer or straightener?? A powerboard solves these problems.
