'Phil' anthropy and our We Care philosophy to our community.
At Phil Hoffmann Travel, we believe in the philosophy of ‘giving beyond self’ by supporting the local community with charitable works and sponsorship opportunities.
We encourage our staff to be involved in, support and give to charity and community based organisations, enabling Phil Hoffmann Travel to maintain its level of social responsibility. Our full time staff are given two paid leave days per year to undertake volunteer/charity work in addition to fundraising Charity Days.
We are dedicated to supporting three key charities: Kidney Health, Minda and the 2h Project. These charities have been selected by Phil Hoffmann Travel management in recognition of their continued support to us and because of Phil and Alison’s personal involvement through their ambassador work.
Through Charity Days including casual days, morning teas and soup kitchens, monies raised support not only these key charities, but various other charities nominated by staff members who have a personal affiliation with the cause. These include Beyond Blue, RSPCA Cupcake Day, Ears for Ole, Red Cross for Nepal, the Bupa Challenge and the People’s Choice Undies Run for Bowel Cancer.
Our active and positive Work Experience program with students attending travel colleges is another way that Phil Hoffmann Travel is giving back to the community – giving students the opportunity to learn important workplace skills and gain knowledge and an insight into the exciting world of the travel industry.
