I commenced my career in the travel industry after completing my Diploma of Tourism Management in 2002. I started with Phil Hoffmann Travel in May 2009 and became Team Leader at the Norwood branch in January 2011. I moved to our Barossa Valley branch in March 2015 as Assistant Branch Manager and have since taken up the same position at our Gawler branch.

travel tips

• Always keep a small amount of cash on you for emergency purposes.
• Advise credit card companies that you’re travelling overseas. This will avoid any nasty surprise cancellations when your bank starts seeing foreign transactions appearing on your statement.
• When visiting popular tourist sites like the Taj Mahal in Agra & Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, be sure to get there early to avoid the crowds and get the best photos.

• Grand Canyon - splash out on a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. Worth every cent. 
• Xi'an, China - marvel at the incredible Terracotta Warriors just outside of Xi'an in China.
• Hoin An, Vietnam - a great recommendation is the Nam Hai Resort. On sprawling tropical gardens on Hà My Beach along the East Sea just outside of Hoi An Old Town, the resort is exceptionally comfortable.
• Trafalgar, Insight and Globus are all tour companies I have had first-hand experience with and can highly recommend.
