I have worked in the travel industry since around 2006 and started with Phil Hoffmann Travel in 2011. Prior to joining Phil Hoffmann Travel I worked in a company that specialised in domestic rail holidays. The opportunity to be a part of the Modbury branch when it first opened has been a highlight of my career - to be part of such a wonderful team since its inception and how well we all work together to help each other makes going to work everyday easy and enjoyable.

I love working in the travel industry. It is such a rewarding career and helping to make people’s dreams come true on a daily basis is the best feeling.

travel tips

• When you are looking for a family holiday to Disneyworld in Orlando, you need to pre-book dining experiences in the park or you might miss out.
• When in Dubai, find a restaurant in the Souks across from the Burj Khalifa as the sun goes down. You can have a lovely meal and watch the magnificent water show on the lake to the accompaniment of traditional and modern music every 30 minutes.
• Whenever I travel, my suitcase is organised to perfection using packing cells – it makes finding things quick and easy.

I recently went to Canada and Alaska with APT. It was the most amazing travel experience that I have ever had. The diversity of the landscape was jaw dropping. The trip continued to get better and better as each day went on. We stayed in some awesome hotels in the best location during this trip. APT make every person on the trip feel valued, nurtured and like they are a part of the Tour Director’s family.
