I joined Phil Hoffmann Travel in 2013 after completing a Certificate III in Tourism Retail Sales.

Joining the travel industry has been the realisation of a long term dream. I love that travel is always evolving - everything from new destinations to special interest travel. There is literally a travel style to suit everyone.

Travel is all about engaging the senses and it’s great to be able to help our clients plan trips that create wonderful memories.

travel tips

  • Get an Oyster Card to use on the MTR in Hong Kong. The rail system is a cheap and efficient way to get round the city and outlying areas.
  • It is worth getting up early to visit the Taj Mahal in India at sunrise. It glows a magnificent pink colour and there are a lot less tourists so you will be able to get those stunning photos your friends will envy.

hot picks

  • Speyer, Germany - If you like history, and in particular transport, visit the Technical Museum in Speyer. The museum is huge and houses an amazing array of historical pieces - everything from a space shuttle to motor bikes, submarines to merry-go-rounds. You actually get to go inside some of the exhibits. Well worth a visit!
  • Europe - river cruising is a wonderful way to travel. Unpacking once is fantastic - it leaves more time to enjoy the cruise complete with locally sourced food and wines…very nice!  The scenery as you cruise along the waterways is absolutely stunning - castles, vineyards and gorgeous villages that you might otherwise miss if you travelled any other way. Everything is included so you really only need a small amount of spending money for a coffee or souvenirs when visiting the many picture book towns and villages along the way.
