After studying and working as a wedding photographer for a number of years I realised my true passion was elsewhere - travel! I joined the travel industry in 2011 and have called PHT Stirling home since November 2012. I first caught the travel bug at just 16 when I travelled to Japan on a school exchange. Since then I’ve backpacked my way through Europe and lived in the UK, spent time in the jungles of Borneo, ridden roller coasters in Disneyland and so much more!

travel tips

  • When travelling to a non-English speaking country do your best to learns the basics of the language. “Hello”, “Please” and “Thank you” get along way anywhere.
  • Always get money out of an ATM attached to a bank. It's safer and if your card gets stuck it's easier to get back.
  • Bushman’s tropical strength mosquito repellent is life saver!
  • I recommend a couple weeks of gym sessions before learning to snowboard. You will fall and you will need good body strength to get yourself up.
  • If you’re spending more than 2 days in London, get a pre-loaded Oyster card. It will make you feel less like a tourist and will make travelling around on the Tube so much easier.
