I have been in the travel industry for more than 30 years, starting with Phil Hoffmann Travel in 2009. I ran my own business for 10 years and have spent more than 15 years working in business travel. Having been in the industry for so long I have seen many changes. When I first started, there were no computers and we needed to phone the airlines to make flight bookings. Emails weren’t around then - it was all done via a telex machine so technology has really made things a lot easier and much more efficient for the industry.
