I’ve always been destined to work in travel – I just needed to stop travelling first! I packed up and embarked on my first journey to Europe when I was 18. Since then, I have been to over 50 countries, and made some of my dreams a reality – experiencing Cuba, trekking to Machu Picchu in Peru, and going on a month-long overland African safari.
Travel has always been my passion and where all my money would be spent, rather than material things. Different streets to walk, new exciting cities to find, local dishes to savour and beautiful mountains and rolling countryside to travel along. Meeting and seeing life through different cultures and being able to stay in touch with like-minded people along the way is so important to me. So many memories across the globe and they’ll just keep being created. I started at Phil Hoffmann Travel in February 2016 and love being able to share my experiences with others wanting to make some dreams come true.
travel tips
- I love taking local transport in different countries. Whether you have a destination, or just want a day of exploring. Jump on a bus just to see where it takes you. It’s very affordable, great people watching, and has an added bonus of sightseeing. You might even get some local knowledge for an amazing off the beaten track restaurant. If you can’t read a menu, don’t translate – select randomly and see what you get!
hot picks
- Club Med for family holidays. The value is unbeatable and the family fun is unmatched!
- Vietnam - Anantara Mui Ne. Set on a beachfront on the South China Sea coast, it's perfection.
- Singapore - Intercontinental Robertson Quay. Among bars and eateries in the vibrant Robertson Quay district along the Singapore River, this hotel is a favourite choice when in Singapore.
