Itinerary
DAY 1 Arrive Paris Tour begins: Paris. A transfer is included from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, Gare de Lyon, Gare du Nord or Charles de Gaulle Station to L'Hotel du Collectionneur, near the Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe. This evening, gather with fellow guests for a welcome reception and dinner to kick off your journey through Europe.

DAY 2 Layers of Parisian History & Culture Start your day in the Latin Quarter with a visit to the Cluny Museum, home to medieval treasures and ancient Roman baths. Enjoy a guided city drive past iconic Parisian landmarks including the Arc de Triomphe, Palais Garnier, and Place de la Concorde. The afternoon is yours to enjoy the flavors and fashion of Paris at your leisure.

DAY 3 Train to Luxembourg & Embark Riverboat Enjoy a relaxed morning before boarding a scenic train to Luxembourg. From there, drive to Trier, Germany to embark your riverboat, either ms Savor or ms Joy. This evening, celebrate the start of your cruise with a welcome toast and dinner onboard.

DAY 4 Trier’s Roman Heritage & Cruising the Moselle Begin your day with a choice of walking tours in Germany’s oldest city—Trier. Choose a relaxed historical stroll or a more active pace to see UNESCO-listed Roman sites. Return to the ship for lunch and cruise the Moselle River, accompanied by commentary from your Tauck Director.

DAY 5 Koblenz or Nürburgring Racetrack Adventure Dock in Koblenz at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle Rivers. Choose between a walking tour of Old Town or an excursion to the Nürburgring motor racing track for a behind-the-scenes look at Germany’s famous speedway. Everyone reunites onboard for dinner as the ship cruises toward Boppard.

DAY 6 Rüdesheim Wines & Castle Dining Cycle the scenic Rhine route on an e-bike or relax onboard during the morning cruise. This afternoon, explore the winemaking town of Rüdesheim before a Tauck Exclusive dinner at the grand Schlosshotel Kronberg, former home of Empress Victoria and filming location for Spencer.

DAY 8 Craftsmanship & Wine in Wertheim This morning, dock near Wertheim for a variety of excursions—from paper mills and piano workshops to blacksmithing demos. Reconvene for a wine-making lesson and tasting in Marktheidenfeld before cruising to Würzburg.

DAY 9 Würzburg or Rothenburg on the Romantic Road Tour the Baroque beauty of Würzburg or travel to Rothenburg ob der Tauber to explore its medieval charm. Walk cobblestone lanes lined with half-timbered houses, then return to the ship in time to cruise toward Marktbreit.

DAY 10 Bayreuth, Bamberg & Weissbier Traditions Dock along the Main and head to Bayreuth to explore the Margravial Opera House or the Richard Wagner Museum. Alternatively, visit Maisel Brewery for a taste of traditional weissbier. Cruise to Bamberg this evening and take in the town’s hilltop views on a walking tour if you wish.

DAY 12 Regensburg & Journey to Prague Disembark in Regensburg for a guided walk of the Old Town and Saint Peter’s Cathedral. After some free time, travel by coach to Prague. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure for dinner on your own.

DAY 13 Prague – The City of a Hundred Spires Explore Prague’s storied architecture and history with your choice of walking tours.
