Day 1 - Arrive Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to your hotel. Meet your East African Tour Director and later this evening your fellow travellers, as you begin your exciting journey through East Africa.

Day 2 - Nairobi, Ngorongoro Crater
Take a flight via Kilimanjaro to Lake Manyara in Tanzania, where you will travel by 4WD vehicle to your beautiful lodge. Savour time at leisure to unwind and soak up the tranquil surroundings before a flavourful dinner.

Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater
Today at the Crater, you will stop for a picnic lunch, giving you time to take in the outstanding landscape. Often referred to as ‘Africa’s Garden of Eden’ and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, the Crater is surrounded by 600-metre high walls, providing a natural enclosure to vast numbers of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and lions. Make sure you have your camera ready to capture the abundant wildlife.

Day 4 - Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara
Immerse yourself in two incredible Signature Experiences this morning. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional lunch before embarking on an exhilarating game drive through Lake Manyara National Park. Return to your lodge for a delicious dinner this evening.
Signature Experience - Kilimatembo School Visit Today, you will be given the opportunity to visit a local school at the village of Mto Wa Mbu. Through our OneTomorrow Charitable Fund, APT assists Kilimatembo School with regular donations.
Signature Experience – Visit a Traditional Maasai Village Walk through a traditional Maasai village and learn about the daily life and culture, from how the Maasai construct their dwellings through to local bush food and medicines.

Day 5 - Olduvai Gorge, Serengeti National Park
Today, your adventure continues as you take in the spectacular, expansive views of the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Keep an eye out for phenomenal wildlife among the endless plains en route to your Signature Experience.
Signature Experience - Olduvai Gorge Private Tour At Olduvai Gorge, also known as the 'Cradle of Mankind', embark on a fascinating private tour in which you will see some of the earliest evidence of our first human ancestors, who existed in the area about two million years ago.

Day 6 - Serengeti National Park

Day 7 - Serengeti National Park

Day 8 - Serengeti National Park, Masai Mara
Board a light aircraft for your scenic flight to the expansive Masai Mara, a vast and stunning wilderness that's home to a diverse array of wildlife and breathtaking vistas. Upon arrival, embark on an off-road journey through the savannah on your first game drive, where you can seize the chance to encounter rare animals. Afterwards, retire to your luxurious tented retreat, complete with a private ensuite with solar-heated water and a large comfortable bed, adorned with Persian rugs and cosy armchairs.
