Travel from Adelaide to London. 

DAY 2 | 4 AUG 2026, TUESDAY 

Arrive London Stay: Thistle Marble Arch - 3 nights* 

On arrival into London, transfer to hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. 

DAY 3 | 5 AUG 2026, WEDNESDAY 

London 

This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city's famous landmarks to see the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall's mounted horse guards, the Prime Minister's Downing Street residence, Piccadilly Circus, and Buckingham Palace. Enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea at The Orangery, the royally inspired dining experience where history and culinary arts meet. Next visit the Tower of London with its spectacular Crown Jewels. This evening enjoy a “Welcome Dinner” at a traditional British Pub. (B, Afternoon Tea, D)

DAY 5 | 7 AUG 2026, FRIDAY 

London, Stratford Upon Avon and Leeds Stay: Clayton Hotel Leeds* 

Today leave London to visit Stratford-upon-Avon. Walk in the footsteps of England’s most iconic playwright as you tour Shakespeare’s Birthplace and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. Then enjoy some time to explore this pretty town with its iconic Tudor houses followed by a local lunch. Continue onto Leeds for the night. (B,L,D) 

DAY 6 | 8 AUG 2026, SATURDAY 

York and Edinburgh Stay: Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh- 2 nights* 

Today visit York, one of the oldest cities in England. Walk through a maze of quaint streets, including the narrow Shambles. See a section of Hadrian's Wall, then drive through wild Northumberland National Park to the Scottish border. At Jedburgh, see the abbey ruins before a late-afternoon arrival in Edinburgh to enjoy a performance of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a vast spectacle of amassed Scottish pipe bands that takes place in an arena on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle. DAY 7 | 9 AUG 2026, SUNDAY 

Edinburgh 

See the highlights of the city on a drive along Princes Street to the ornate Scott Memorial and see the 18th century New Town with its neoclassical Adam facades. Over in the Old Town, see the Palace of Holyroodhouse and visit the castle, home of Mons Meg, the Stone of Destiny and the Honours of Scotland, Scotland's glittering Crown Jewels. Tonight, enjoy an authentic Scottish evening filled with traditional food, drinks, singers, dancers, bagpipes, and, of course, the unforgettable Ceremony of the Haggis! (B,D) 

DAY 8 | 10 AUG 2026, MONDAY 

St Andrews, Culloden Moor, & Inverness Stay: Kingsmills Hotel Inverness- 2 nights* 

A day of sightseeing, as you travel along Forth Road Bridge to St. Andrews, whose Royal and Ancient Golf Club has given us the rules of golfing; then, cross the Firth of Tay and, via Dundee and Perth, head into the Highlands, with a stop in the Victorian mountain resort of Pitlochry. Cross the battlefield of Culloden Moor with its memories of Bonnie Prince Charlie, then, via Inverness, where you will stop for the night. (B) 

DAY 9 | 11 AUG 2026, TUESDAY 

Isle of Skye 

Today take a full-day trip through the Isle of Skye. Visit the area’s top landmarks, including Eilean Donan Castle, Portree, and the Old Man of Storr. (B,D) 

DAY 10 | 12 AUG 2026, WEDNESDAY 

Strathpeffer, Fort William, & Glasgow Stay: Radisson Blu Hotel Glasgow* 

Today visit Loch Ness, and see the Urquhart Castle on a boat cruise this morning. Look out for signs of the mysterious Loch Ness monster. Continue through Fort William to absorb the dramatic scenery of Glencoe, the Valley of the Weeping, where the dreadful massacre of the MacDonalds took place in 1692. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond, enroute to Glasgow. (B) 

DAY 11 | 13 AUG 2026, THURSDAY 

Gretna Green, Lake District & Liverpool Stay: Maldron hotel Liverpool- 2 nights* 

Travel South through the history-steeped Lowland Hills to Gretna Green, where the blacksmith used to wed runaway couples. Drive through beautiful scenery in the Lake District, considered to be the finest of England's national parks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On arrival into Liverpool enjoy a city tour, to learn of the city’s maritime past, the cathedral, historic civic buildings, and sites made famous by the Beatles! (B,D) 

DAY 12 | 14 AUG 2026, FRIDAY 

North Wales 

Today spend the day discovering the mountainous beauty of North Wales. After a stop in pretty Betws-Y-Coed, drive over spectacular Llanberis Pass and through Snowdonia National Park to Caernarfon, where the castle saw the investiture of Charles as Prince of Wales. Then follow the coast road via the walled town of Conway back to Liverpool. (B)

DAY 13 | 15 AUG 2026, SUNDAY 

Cardiff Stay: Clayton Hotel Cardiff* 

Leaving Liverpool, stop in the pretty market town of Ludlow before heading back into Wales and Brecon Beacons National Park, land of salmon rivers and the Welsh mountain pony. Travel through "The Valleys," whose iron ore and coal were the raw materials for the Industrial Revolution, to the Welsh capital. An orientation drive introduces you to the major attractions: Cardiff Castle, Cathays Park, Millennium Stadium, and the stately civic buildings. Tonight enjoy Welsh culture at its finest and travel to a coastal village to one of the oldest pubs in Wales for a dinner of local specialties, wine, and spirited folkloric entertainment and harp playing. DAY 14 | 16 AUG 2026, MONDAY 

Glastonbury, Widecombe, & Plymouth Stay: Crowne Plaza Plymouth* 

Leaving Wales, cross the Severn Bridge to the scenic West Country and Glastonbury with its King Arthur associations. In the heart of Dartmoor National Park, visit quaint Widecombe-in-the-Moor, the ghostly setting for Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles. Finally, in Plymouth, hear about Sir Francis Drake and see the Mayflower Steps, where the Pilgrim Fathers embarked in 1620. Then hop on board a Plymouth Harbor Cruise where you will follow in the footsteps of Sir Francis Drake, Sir Walter Raleigh, and the Pilgrim Fathers on this narrated cruise on Plymouth Sound, one of the world's great natural harbours. DAY 15 | 17 AUG 2026, MONDAY 

Stonehenge and Bath Stay: Thistle Hotel London-2 nights* 

This morning, visit prehistoric Stonehenge to admire the magnificence of the monument from up close and explore the visitor centre with its imaginative exhibitions. Stop at a traditional hotel in Bath for lunch, followed by an orientation tour of Bath. Walk between the sites, hear about this UNESCO-listed city and its Roman and Georgian heritage. Admire landmarks like Bath Abbey and the Royal Crescent and visit the Roman Baths to see the baths and artifacts left by Britain’s Roman occupiers almost 2,000 years ago. Return to London late afternoon. (B,L)

Passport & Visas It is necessary for all passengers to be in possession of a valid passport which has at least 6 months validity beyond your return into Australia. Visas are not required for Australian passport holders. Minimum Numbers Group fares quoted for this tour are subject to a minimum of 15 paying and maximum 24 passengers travelling together. Phil Hoffmann Travel reserves the right to increase the tour price or cancel the tour should the numbers travelling not meet the required minimum. Tour Escort Escort travels when minimum numbers of 15 are reached. Price Alterations Tour prices specified are based on airfares, taxes and land arrangement tariffs applicable at the time of printing, therefore they may be subject to alteration with or without prior notice until final payment date, as per brochure final payment date. Extensions/stopovers An amendment fee may apply for any changes to group flight arrangements. You may also need to pay any additional applicable taxes. Group Flights – Seat Selection For seat selection, please ensure that requests are submitted in advance to secure preferred seating arrangements. Availability is subject to the airline’s policies, and additional charges may apply for specific seat preferences. If you have any special seating requirements, such as extra legroom, aisle seats, or assistance-related seating, please notify us as soon as possible. We will coordinate with the airline to accommodate your request. Airlines do reserve the right to change a passenger's seat at any time, even if the seat has been paid for in advance due to various reasons. Special Assistance To ensure a smooth travel experience, all wheelchairs and walking aids must be provided to the Groups Department team for coordination with the airline. Kindly ensure the following details are submitted: • Brand of the wheelchair or walking aid • A clear photo of the item • Weight of the item • Dimensions (Height, Width, Depth) Amendments/changes There may be fees charged per amendment by third party suppliers for any reservation changes after your booking is confirmed. Twin share Room Match Policy In the event of a cancellation for a twin share room match, the travelling passenger may be required to pay for a single room supplement cost, which will not be covered under their travel insurance policy. Similarly, if a traveler decides whilst travelling that they do not want to share any longer, they will be required to pay the full costs for a single room. Refunds/Credits No refund is available in respect of any sightseeing tours, accommodation, meals or any other services not utilized or required during this tour. No refund is available for cancellations after the tour has commenced. Cancellations Cancellations of confirmed bookings will be subject to a $400 per person service fee plus any charges imposed by principals involved in operating the tour. Therefore, the cancellation fee may be up to the total cost for land and/or airfares. Cancelled bookings are non-transferable. Baggage Please refer to individual airline tickets for the baggage allowance for your flights. Airlines may charge you for baggage in excess of these allowances, which will be at passenger’s expense. Whilst on tour one main bag and 1 piece of hand luggage per person is allowed. Medical Advice It is wise to seek medical advice before travelling from a travel specialist doctor, or from your own GP. Travelers must meet Phil Hoffmann Travel ’Statement of Fitness’ standards to participate. Insurance Insurance is compulsory to cover against loss of deposit and loss of airfares, personal accident, medical cover etc. If you have an ongoing medical condition, you may be required to complete a pre-existing medical form. If you are over 70 years of age, you are required to complete a senior’s medical form. Your consultant will provide all the details. Children Participants must be over the age of 15. Fitness: this tour is graded as level 2. Responsibility Phil Hoffmann Travel reserves the right to alter or omit any part of the itinerary or change of reservation, features and/or means of conveyance without any notice and for any reason whatsoever. Phil Hoffmann Travel does not accept liability for failure on the part of transportation companies, hotel contractors and other principals whose responsibility is confined to their own operations. Phil Hoffmann Travel reserves the right to alter hotels used should the necessity arise. The transportation companies or firms shall be exempt from all liabilities in respect of any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness or injury and by whom so ever caused and whatever kind occurring of or to the passenger at any time when the passenger is not on board a conveyance used or operated by the transportation companies or firms.
