Approximately four hours flight north, the incredible Iguassu Falls offer an escape to nature after the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires. On the Argentine-Brazilian border, Iguassu Falls is the combination of 30 rivers converging on the Paraná Plateau that sees over 275 individual falls roaring into the river below. A third taller than its more famous counterpart at Niagara and even wider than the immense Victoria Falls, Iguassu Falls is a truly remarkable natural spectacle that cannot be missed if in the region.

It is worth visiting the falls on the Brazil side also, taking the long pathway there that runs along the canyon giving you a totally different perspective. Best seen during spring or autumn, summer can be hot and in winter, the water levels drop considerably.
