Always exciting, never ordinary, there’s a reason Las Vegas is known as the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’. It’s once the sun sets that the city really springs to life. Stroll down the notorious Strip, visiting an endless amount of casinos, hedonistic bars, clubs and pool parties, decadent resorts, thrill-seeking rides, restaurants, malls and wedding chapels. Take in a show – musical, magical, comedy, tribute, hypnotic, mind reading, headliners, concerts, productions, aerial and acrobatic; the options are endless! Don’t miss the entertainment district of Freemont Street in historic downtown Las Vegas. It provides pedestrian access to some of the city’s most iconic casinos and its spectacular centrepiece is VivaVision – the world’s largest video screen. At 1,500-feet long and 90-feet wide, it’s suspended above the mall and features free nightly light shows. For fun, find a chapel and an Elvis impersonator and renew your wedding vows!  dreamstime_xl_29655731

If you’re looking for quieter pursuits, there are some quirky museums worthy of a visit. The Neon Museum is a graveyard for the old neon signs that once lit up the city; you’ll gain fascinating insight into the history of the signs and the city. On the more sinister side, there’s the fascinating Mob Museum or the intriguing, sometimes disturbing Atomic Testing Museum. Fancy a game of golf? Las Vegas is home to more than 60 golf courses, some designed by golfing greats such as Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer. Sightseeing abounds in and around Vegas too. Visit the mighty Grand Canyon by coach, plane, helicopter or a combination of all three. Add on a visit to Lake Mead, Hoover Dam or the Hualapai Indian Lands.

Shop
Las Vegas is a shopper’s paradise with hundreds of malls, department stores, factory outlets and designer boutiques - you’ll find some of the best shopping in the world for every taste and budget. Attractions in themselves, the malls contain everything from cinemas, restaurants to sound and light shows and are often themed. Visit Las Vegas Premium Outlets for a bargain with high end fashion in its North mall and standard fashion in its South mall. Fashion Show Mall is an unrivalled fashion venue covering nearly 2,000,000 square feet of space; it’s one of the largest enclosed shopping malls in the world. You’ll find an impressive collection of designer boutiques at Via Bellagio and a perfect mix of couture and affordable fashion at The Forum Shops at Caesars. Don’t forget to bring an extra suitcase!
