Here are some unique tips from the experts when driving in the USA:
- Make yourself aware of the road rules. When you collect your vehicle remember that you’ll be sitting on the wrong side of the car and on the other side of the road.
- Don’t get lost and be sure to hire yourself a GPS unit. These can be paid locally with the supplier with whom you collect.
- A lot of petrol (gas) stations in the USA advise you to pay for your fuel before you fill the car up, so check before refuelling.
- When driving on a freeway, make sure you are travelling in the right lane unless overtaking.
The uniqueness of the USA will have you wanting more. If you’re feeling inspired and want more information or to book, simply contact Phil Hoffmann Travel.
